    How to use Whole Home Sign In

    When a customer signs into your X1 App on one set-top box, you can store that login credential in a Cloud Cookie. When that customer goes to a different set-top box and launches your X1 App, they are automatically signed in.

    For example: a customer is watching a video asset in your X1 App in their living room but it’s getting late. They pause the video on their living room TV, turn on their bedroom TV, launch your X1 App, and resume playback without having to sign-in again.

    This also allows families to share a single account on multiple devices without providing everyone the account information needed to sign in (like a password).

    How to enable Whole Home Sign In

    Whole Home Sign In requires the use of Cloud Cookies. Contact your partner manager to enable this feature in your X1 App.
