    Content and Service Guidelines (also known as “Content Guidelines”) are as follows:

    1. General Restrictions on Offensive and Objectionable Content. Your app may not contain any content that is offensive, insensitive, upsetting, intended to disgust, vulgar or in poor taste, which may vary by the location of the user. Examples of such content include, but are not limited to:

      • Nudity, pornography, content that depicts sexual acts or sexually explicit material, or content that sexualizes minors;

      • Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content;

      • Realistic portrayals of people or animals being tortured, abused, harmed and/or killed or graphic depictions of extreme gore, unsettling content or excessive violence;

      • Content that promotes violence or is intended to incite hatred against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization;

      • Inappropriate content aimed at children or which is contained in content intended for children;

      • Content that suggests or encourages reckless use of firearms or other dangerous weapons and objects;

      • Content that lacks reasonable sensitivity towards, or seeks to capitalize on, natural disasters, death, conflict or other tragic events; and

      • Content that facilitates threats, harassment and/or bullying.


    1. Illegal and Dangerous Activities. Your app may not contain content or services that promote, facilitate or celebrate illegal or dangerous activities, including, but not limited to:

      • Facilitating the sale or purchase of illegal drugs or other illegal items;

      • Providing guidance or instructions for growing or manufacturing illegal drugs or how to build or engineer dangerous materials or items (e.g., bombs);

      • Promoting or celebrating organized crime, terrorism, or other illegal activities meant to undermine local and/or national governments or police forces;

      • Promoting murder, self-harm, or other acts of violence;

      • Providing specific advice on how to join, or how to encourage others to join, a gang, terrorist group or other illegal organization;

      • Including or describing malicious tracking or stalking; and

      • Facilitating illegal streaming or downloads of content, pirated software, or torrents.


    1. Hate Speech. Your app may not (i) contain hate speech, derogatory comments or symbols of hate (e.g., Nazi Swastikas) which target individuals or groups, including any such content based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity or (ii) promote groups or organizations that support or encourage such beliefs.

    2. Gambling, Alcohol and Tobacco. Your app may not permit users to engage in gambling to win real money as prizes or other tangible prizes that have an actual cash value. Subject to advertisements expressly permitted under the Advertising Content Standards and Guidelines, Your app shall not (i) promote cigarettes, little cigars, smokeless tobacco, electronic cigarettes/inhalers, vapor or vaping products, chewing tobacco, snuff tobacco, or products that promote smoking or tobacco, (ii) contain underage use of tobacco or alcohol or (iii) promote excessive use of alcohol or tobacco.


    1. User Generated Content. User-generated content is content that users of your app contribute to your app which may be visible and/or accessible by other users. User-generated content present particular challenges, ranging from intellectual property infringement to anonymous bullying. Given the foregoing, if your app contains user-generated content then it must:

      • Have a method for preventing objectionable material from being posted to your app;

      • Include a user-friendly mechanism to report offensive and/or infringing content and provide timely responses to concerns;

      • Have the ability to block abusive users from your app and/or service; and

      • Include contact information so users can easily reach you.

    If your app may not contains user-generated content or services that end up being used primarily for pornographic content, objectification of real people (e.g., “hot-or-not” voting), making physical threats, bullying, or for purposes forbidden by these Content Guidelines.


    1. Crypto-Currencies. Your app may not facilitate the transaction of cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin). These transactions are prohibited.

    2. Medical Content. Medical-related content shall not contain or make false claims regarding medicine, medical treatments, and/or prescription drugs.


    1. Misrepresentations. Your app may not include content that contains or makes false representations about any product, service, businesses (included your own), or information, including omitting billing details, making misleading claims about weight loss or financial gain, and displaying false contact details.


    1. Intellectual Property. Your app, services and/or content that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others (including patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright, and other proprietary rights) are prohibited. In addition, X1 Apps, services and/or content that encourage or induce infringement of intellectual property rights are prohibited.

    If you are an intellectual property rights owner and you think there is an app and/or content that infringes your rights, contact the app developer directly to address your concerns. If you cannot resolve your concerns with the developer, you can submit a report of claimed infringement.

    Please note that these Content Guidelines may be amended at any time, without notice and in its sole and absolute discretion, and are in addition to any other terms, guidelines and/or standards that may apply to your app. All interpretation and application of these Content Guidelines shall be as determined by the platform, at its sole discretion.
